Our Middle Eastern Desk was first set up in Kuala Lumpur in September 2007. Due to the overwhelming demand for our services, we set up the Dubai office to better service our current and potential clients from the Middle East, and clients with interests in the Middle East. Marking a new phase of the firm's expansion plans, the Dubai office is the firm's fifth office outside Malaysia.

This setup marks a significant milestone as we are the first Asian law firm to receive approval from the Dubai Financial Services Authority to provide legal services to local, regional and international clients in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), a world-class global financial hub.

With this licence, our team of lawyers who have an established track record of advising on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, projects and structuring Islamic finance and banking deals, is poised to position the firm as the gateway for Malaysian and Southeast Asian clients seeking legal and business support for their commercial interests in Dubai and the Middle-Eastern region. Additionally this will be advantageous for our international clients based in the Middle East as our recent strategic presence in Australia will also connect potential businesses and investors from the Middle East with Australia.
