To qualify, candidates must have:

• Excellent academic record, with a minimum of second class upper (2:1) LLB degree or equivalent and have completed the British Bar Vocational Course or obtained the Malaysian Certificate of Legal Practice (unless exempted)
• Fluency in written and spoken English
• Strong leadership and communication skills, demonstrated through outstanding extracurricular activities or post degree experience.

Upon completion of the TAP and call to the Malaysian Bar, Trainee Associates who excel will be offered the position of Associates. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work on some of our headline deals and international transactions, and may be offered positions in one our international offices.
