ZICO is the first Malaysian law firm to initiate the SAP for undergraduates. This programme runs annually in July for law students during their semester break and is specially designed to provide an introduction to the Malaysian legal framework. Spaces are limited to 20 places a year.

• Structured lectures on selected topics complemented by arranged visits to related places such as the Palace of Justice and other courts, the Attorney General’s Chambers, Parliament, prisons and selected government agencies
• early exposure to the legal practice through tailored mini-assignments with teams
• Certificate of Completion presented on successful completion of the SAP

To qualify, candidates must have:

• Excellent academic records and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English
